The time has come for Moon Harbour’s driving force to make a welcome return to his own label with the red hot new track ‘Fender Bender.’ The superb ‘Fender Bender’ has everything you would expect from a Matthias track: tightly programmed drums with diving bass, plenty of well-designed percussive elements and a smart vocal hook that gets the floor locked in. This time out there is plenty of attitude in that vocal as the bass swings low and the tripped-out synth motifs bring the whole track to life before a winky breakdown sends things into overdrive.

Moon Harbour founder Matthias Tanzmann continues on his recent collaborative tip, this time joining forces with Daniel Stefanik for the new single ‘Comida China.’ The excellent ‘Comida China’ is proof of that. It’s seven sizzling minutes of steamy and tribal tech built on a solid groove foundation. Fluttering toms never rest up top, sharp hi-hats cut up the mix and wonky synths weave their way in and out before a fiery Spanish vocal arrives to really ignite the whole track.

DEFEX is the alias of Franz Hager, a Bavaria-born DJ and producer who has been actively making hard hitting house and techno for some time.

Here we see him bring his considerable talents to Steve Bug’s Poker Flat Recordings, dropping a brand new EP – We Are The Beat!

The original is a tough, euphoric house roller with an upfront vocal from Ibiza icon, singer & songwriter, BLONDEWEARINGBLACK, who contributed the lyrics, that sends shivers down the spine.

The Maxinne remix takes things a shade deeper with a shuffling groove and hypnotic bass, this time with the dubbed out vocals sitting a little lower in the mix.

Also included is an instrumental version of the orginal for the DJs who prefer things more stripped back, as well as a radio version that pays testament to the tracks uncanny hooks.
